WarpTalk

Welcome to the first episode of WarpTalk, SearchWarp's new podcast series featuring Ben Morrish and Connor Davidson.

This episode is just an introduction,  explaining what WarpTalk is, and sharing some ideas about what we'd like to include in future episodes.

It's primarily an audio-only show at the moment, but presented in YouTube format for ease of access.

We're hoping to get as many SearchWarp members involved with WarpTalk as we can, so if you're interested being interviewed for the show you can apply through the form at /podcast

Perhaps you'd like to contribute a report for the show, or maybe you have a topic you'd like to see discussed - whatever it is, be sure to let us know.

Podcasting is something new for everyone involved with WarpTalk, but with your help we think it will help make SearchWarp a richer experience for its members, and sometimes it might even give you the inspiration for a new article.

If you've got any ideas for WarpTalk, or comments you'd like to share, we'd love to hear your views!

WarpTalk is SearchWarp's new podcast. WarpTalk hopes to do some interviews with SearchWarp members, so that everyone can find out a bit more about each other, and to do some audio reports on anything that has caught people's eyes in the news or right here on Searchwarp.

In the future, WarpTalk would also like to do some round-table discussions with SearchWarp members.

Thanks for listening Teresa. Yep, myself and Connor really are from the UK.... I'm from a rustic backwater in Southern England and Connor is from "North England", otherwise known as Scotland :)

This is great!! I hadn't noticed what an accent you two have! We may need an interpreter in the middle---you sure don't sound like somebody from Arkansas! Just kiddin', fellows. Great job and sounds like a great idea and lots of work ahead of ya'll. Being such a shy and sensitive girl that I am, I will wait til you've had a few thousand participants before I put in my two-cents-worth.lol

Good luck and best wishes.

I think we're from far enough away from Akansas to have thought it was pronounced "Are Kansas" for a fair few years :)

Even though I have always felt that I have a face for radio and a voice for newspaper, this sounds like fun!

I'll "Skype up!"

Hmmm...cutting out the "good" parts (i.e., the boo-boos) takes some of the excitement out of the experience, especially for us, the listeners. Unless, of course, you end up taking all those cut-outs and tie them together to make a "Foot in Mouth" episode. Now THAT'S what I want to hear!  :D Have fun with this and looking forward to your reports!
